This policy explains what cookies are and how Progressa uses them, in line with the Italian DPA (Garante) cookie guidelines of 8 July 2021.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files saved on your device by the site you visit. They make the site work, remember your preferences and, with your consent, collect usage statistics. We also use similar technologies (e.g. local storage) to remember your banner choice.
Necessary cookies (always on)
Essential for the site to work: under the rules they do not require consent, but we list them for transparency.
Login session (NextAuth): keeps you signed in and protects against CSRF. Duration: session or up to 7 days. Controller: Progressa.
Language preference: remembers your chosen language (it/en). Duration: up to 1 year. Controller: Progressa.
Cookie preference: stores your choice on this banner. Duration: up to 6 months. Controller: Progressa.
Analytics cookies (consent only)
PostHog: aggregated statistics on how the product is used, to improve it. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). Enabled ONLY after you consent via the banner. Duration: up to 12 months. Provider: PostHog (possible processing outside the EU, with appropriate safeguards).
You can reject or withdraw consent at any time via the 'Manage cookies' link in the footer, without losing access to the service.
Marketing / profiling cookies
Not used. Progressa does not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels or profiling for marketing. If introduced in the future, we will update this policy and ask for separate consent.
Third-party content
Some images (company logos, avatars) may be loaded from third-party services (e.g. Clearbit, DiceBear), which could set their own technical cookies. You can control these from your browser settings.
How to manage cookies
On your first visit we show a banner with an explicit, equally-prominent choice between 'Accept all' and 'Reject', plus a 'Customize' option per category. Until you consent, analytics tools are not enabled. You can change your mind at any time via the 'Manage cookies' link in the footer, or by blocking and deleting cookies in your browser settings.
